Week Four & Walking
This week, the Attention Project plan asks you to take a walk at least once during your unplugged time.
This may seem like a simple task. (Will it really accomplish anything at all?)
The benefits of walking for both physical and mental health are well-documented. One of the benefits least talked about is enhanced focus and concentration.
“Taking a brisk walk can work wonders for your focus. Research suggests that walking increases blood circulation to the brain, supplying it with essential nutrients and oxygen, resulting in improved concentration, sharper focus, and enhanced productivity.” (ER of Texas)
Don’t skip this assignment!
